A Night to Remember: Envirotech FM Celebrates Double Awards Success!

They say awards can be a little like buses — you wait for one, and then two come along at once.

For Envirotech FM, that was quite literally the case, as members of our team split across London to attend two major awards ceremonies on the same evening. By the end of the night, we had an award win, a Highly Commended recognition and three finalist places to celebrate.

Winner: Excellence in Sustainability

At the Facilities Management Awards UK, Envirotech FM was incredibly proud to be named Winner of Excellence in Sustainability.

The award recognises the work being undertaken across our business to make sustainability a meaningful part of how facilities are managed, decisions are made and services are delivered.

For us, sustainability is not simply a policy or an annual target. It is increasingly embedded within our approach to facilities management — from data-led decision-making and energy efficiency to ESG initiatives, responsible procurement and working collaboratively with clients to identify opportunities for improvement.

Alongside our win, Envirotech FM was also a finalist in two further categories:

• FM Management CSR Initiative of the Year
• Innovation in Technology & Systems

To receive recognition across sustainability, CSR and technology on the same evening was a particularly proud achievement and reflects the breadth of work taking place across the business.

The Facilities Management Awards UK were attended on behalf of Envirotech FM by Pinder Singh Hujan, Daya Singh Hujan, Simon Spensley, Brody Finley and Joyce Boxem.

Our judges were captivated by Envirotech Facilities Management’s commitment to embedding sustainability throughout the organisation. Strong governance, public carbon reporting, B Corp certification, and company-wide sustainability engagement demonstrate a transparent and accountable approach. By making sustainability part of everyday operations rather than a standalone initiative, Envirotech sets a strong example of responsible facilities management.

Highly Commended for Excellence in Customer Service

Meanwhile, across London at the Hilton Park Lane, another Envirotech FM team was representing the business at The Signature Awards, where we had been shortlisted for Excellence in Customer Service.

On the night, Envirotech FM was awarded Highly Commended for Excellence in Customer Service — another significant achievement in a highly competitive category.

Customer service has always been at the heart of our approach to facilities management.

Behind the technology, systems and processes is a team of real people supporting clients, occupiers, contractors and buildings every day. Our Customer Service Desk alone handles approximately 250,000 communications annually, alongside supporting the delivery and management of more than 21,000 jobs each year.

Receiving Highly Commended recognition therefore means a great deal to the entire business and, in particular, to the people who consistently deliver that service.

Envirotech FM was represented at The Signature Awards by Senior Facilities Manager Dragan Bogzaru MIWFM and Associate Director Ryan Smith.

Recognition That Belongs to Our People

While awards provide an opportunity to celebrate success, the achievements behind them happen every day.

They happen through the people answering the phones and responding to emails.

The facilities managers looking after our buildings.

The engineers solving problems.

The teams supporting our clients.

The people developing new technology, improving processes, driving our ESG commitments and continually asking how we can deliver a better service.

That is why this recognition belongs to the entire Envirotech FM team.

A special acknowledgement must also go to Director Jeff Smith MBA, who has played an important role in developing our award submissions and continues to champion sustainability throughout the business.

Growing Without Losing What Matters

Since Envirotech FM was founded in 2018, the company has continued to grow and evolve. Today, we provide facilities management services across a growing portfolio of sites, supported by a team of almost 70 people.

But growth for us has never simply been about becoming bigger.

As a B Corp-certified facilities management business, we believe growth should be accompanied by responsibility — to our clients, our people, our communities and the environment.

Our recent awards recognition is an encouraging indication that this approach is making an impact.

Winning Excellence in Sustainability, being Highly Commended for Excellence in Customer Service, and reaching the finals across CSR and Innovation & Technology demonstrate four areas that are becoming increasingly important to the future of Envirotech FM: people, service, sustainability and innovation.

We are immensely proud of how far the business has come, but even more excited about where we are heading next.
